"We are extremely pleased to see the Sneha Care Home & shining star school. Most of the activities of these two institutions are phenomenal. We wish all the best to all people involed in this initiative."

Shawkat Ali, MP and Deputy Speaker, Bengladesh Parliament

"I spent three months as a volunteer teacher in the Shining Star School. My mission was to give an extra attention to some children who could not manage in their normal class. These three months in this nstitution were a very interesting experience for me. I learned a lot from the challenges I had to face. I taught these children about math and English asmuch as they taught me about myself. I wish everybody could take part in such an interesting project! A lot of people ask me if I will bring back something from this experience. Obviously I will, but the most important thing is that I will go back withoutsomething : my prejudice. Thank you to the Sneha Care Home staff for this opportunity."

Colin Frezlous, a French volunteer

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I am extremely thankful for the opportunity, I have been given. I was able to interact and teach the kids, which was a great experience because I got to know them. What amazed me most was how confident the kids were and how respectful they are. My favourite experience was playing football! I would like to thank the staff for fantastic hospitality and I will definitely stay in touch."

Imrun Nagra, student from UK

"Your passion, enthusiasm, and general care for your work & mission is incredibly inspiring. You are truly making an incredible impact in our small world. The International Book Project is extremely proud to call you and your organization a partner."

Ms. Tracy Taylor, Director International Book project

“The children's smiles & confidence speak volumes for the work all inspired adults are doing. All Strength to you!"

Ms. Smitha Mallya, Principal, Steiner School, Bangalore

"All children are blessed to be here in hands of people committed with the humanity. Thank you for making me part of this. My heart is full of love now."

Ms. Olga Alva, Ms. Earth 2010

“What a wonderful time I have had. These children and staff are inspirational and I will hold this place in my heart. God bless you all.”

Mr. Christian Lillicrap, an Australian musician/ volunteer

"Smart and talented kids- can't forgeth them for life. Excellent programme!"

K. Balasubramaniam

"Thank you for those wonderful two months I could spend at Sneha Care Home! A great place for the lovely kids!! Take care & I hope to see you again!!!"

Dr. Vera Okpanyi, a German Volunteer

Unfortunately, time flies when you are happy and 11 months passed within a few seconds. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at Sneha Care Home and appreciated every single day I spent there. During this time, I became a part of this big loving and caring family. It never was not a trip or vacation. It is a second life. That’s why I have to thank every single person who is involved in the work at Sneha Care Home, Snehadaan and Snehagram, all Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Staff and Volunteers. You made my time in India. Even though I know that “thank you” is not needed for loved ones, I have to show my gratefulness. Every one of you put your heart and soul into the program in order to make the world a better place. May all of you continue your work with the same affection, disinterestedness and dedication as I experienced it.
Thank you for all these wonderful and unforgettable memories.
Thank you for a year full of joy, happiness and love.

I miss you all and will never forget anybody I met during this time. I hope to keep in touch with you all and to visit Sneha Care Home as soon as possible.
Send my love to all my amazing and blessed children at Sneha Care Home as well as Snehagram.

Ms. Simone Peoleole, German Long Term Volunteer
